Murray Hill Institute Newsletter
November 2005
Volume 2, Number 3

Dear Friends,

Many hands make light work, so the saying goes; and over the course of history women have excelled in lending not only their hands, but also their time, talent, skills and financial support to countless worthy causes. The natural ability women have to perceive the needs of others makes them able to respond swiftly and effectively.

This issue of our Newsletter deals with volunteerism and the contribution that women have made—and can continue to make—to aid countless worthy causes that arise from the needs of the human family. Perhaps from time to time you have thought, “I wish I could do something to help.” Don’t let a perceived lack of time or resources render your good desires ineffective. There are many worthy causes and countless ways that one can help. We encourage you to get involved in the charity or cause of your choice and make a difference in the lives of others.

Kind regards,
Kathy McGarry
President, Murray Hill Institute
