Weinstein Elizabeth Weinstein is a reporter at The Wall Street Journal Online where she writes a range of news and feature stories for both the online and print editions. Most recently she covered the tsunami, writing U.S.-based stories on charitable giving and disaster relief. She has also covered both political conventions and the election in 2004 for the online edition. Prior to WSJ.com, Elizabeth worked at The Wall Street Journal's Marketplace page, where she did research and wrote stories that took her from the farm fields of Ukraine to inner-city Louisville, KY. From 1997 to 2000, Elizabeth lived and worked in Prague, Czech Republic where she was a reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, the U.S. broadcaster, and The Prague Post, a weekly English newspaper. At the Post, Elizabeth covered the Czech Republic's accession to NATO and the EU, as well as the fallout for refugees fleeing the war in Kosovo. |
