2005 Spring Conference
Woman, Beauty and Image

April 8 - 9
Union League Club
38 East 37th Street
New York, NY 10016

Has the notion of beauty changed over time? If fashion can enhance a woman’s natural beauty, can it also distort it? What role does popular culture play in determining the notion of beauty? What trends affect our perception of it?

Conference speakers shared their professional insights and personal experiences to help participants explore these and other questions.

A deeper understanding of the ideas and trends that influence the images of women in culture today helped participants to become proactive in promoting their own true image across all lines: one that has inherent dignity and beauty, one that is filled with class and content.
